Daddy was still sleeping so Greggy and I decided to wake him up.
When daddy was finally awake, I asked him: “Greggy, what do you wanna tell your daddy?”
He hesitated and replied, “Happy Mother’s Day, daddy!”
Hahaha. Ano daw?

I’m thinking of buying a usb flash drive with a pretty high memory so I can have all my files accessible on any computers. I have been meaning to buy one for a long time but until now I still haven’t bought it. Hahaha! Talk about being so damn stingy!

Anyway, I think I really have to buy one this week. I have just been promoted as the new Quality Assurance Coordinator at work so I’m gonna be needing it for sure.

Travel guide

There is nothing more perfect than traveling with your family — be it abroad or anywhere in the country. Not only does it bring you and your family closer, it’s also the best time for you to get your mind off all the stress that you get from work everyday. I swear, it’s priceless! It’s probably the best gift that you can reward yourself with.

My family and I had a 4-day vacation on Boracay island recently. Sure, we spent a lot money because we had to pay for plane tickets and accomodation. But I’d say it’s all worth it. As a matter of fact, my husband and I decided to go to another tourist spot next year. Maybe in Palawan or Bohol. And we agreed to spend a one-week vacation so we’ll have more time to relax.

Anyway, if you need a travel guide for your trips in the future, check out ShermansTravel.Com.

Summer is almost over. You must have enjoyed your summer escapade with your family on the beach just like I did. And now I am paying the price…I need some skin whitening cream, lotion, pills or whatever to lighten my skin! LOL.

Any suggestions? I am looking for something that is not expensive but works like a charm. Thank you!

Weird!

Battling acne is really hard. It feels like the more you pay attention to it, the more it gets worse. Weird! Sometimes the best acne medications you can find are the ones that are not even expensive. So I guess it really depends on how sensitive your skin is. It’s also important that you know the contents of the product that you’re using. Because as bad as it may sound, there are tons of expensive skin care products out there that don’t really work.

To be honest, I stopped caring too much about my skin a long time ago. And I am so frickin’ glad I did. Because now I rarely get pimples. That is so weird, isn’t it? Before, I would always go to a dermatologist for skin consultation and facial treatments monthly. But my skin didn’t get any better. Constant pricking during facial treatments only left ugly shallow scars on my face. So I decided to give my skin some rest. And to my surprise, my face got even better! As a matter of fact, it’s been years the last time I had a facial. Hahaha!

So my advice? Don’t stress yourself too much battling pimples. Just be happy.

I miss tennis!

I miss playing tennis! It’s been a while the last time my husband and I played went out to play. We are so busy with work that we don’t even have the energy and the time to go to the nearest tennis court. I’m really hoping that we could play one of these days despite our busy schedule. I need some serious exercise to release all this stress I’m getting from work.

Anyway, I came across a really cool tennis website and found some cool stuff. Look at these Wilson tennis racquets and head rackets! They are actually on sale so you can save a lot of money. So if you don’t have a tennis racket yet, you can check out all the items at tennisplaza.com. I’m quite sure that you will be very delighted to know that they’re also selling really cheap New Balance tennis shoes! The cheapest ones they have only cost $43 and they’re really nice. I’m actually thinking of buying it because it’s really cheap. I guess it’s time for me to replace my red FILA rubber shoes then. Hahaha!

Tennis is a great exercise. Don’t you know that competitive tennis burns more calories than aerobics, inline skating, or cycling, according to studies on caloric expenditures? There are many other physical reasons why everyone should play tennis. Here are some of them:

  • Tennis helps your immune system through its conditioning effects which promote overall health, fitness and resistance to disease.
  • It helps your flexibility due to the constant stretching and maneuvering to return the ball toward your opponent.
  • It helps your leg strength through hundreds of starts and stops which build stronger leg muscles.
  • It helps your bone strength and density by strengthening bones of young players and helping prevent osteoporosis in older ones.

So if you wanna be fit, play tennis.

PlayStation 3

I can’t believe that PlayStation 3 is now being sold for as low as $398.99. Whoa! And it’s actually 40 times faster than the chip that runs PlayStation 2 and is capable of running at speed 3.2 GHz. I guess it’s time for us to replace our very old PS1 at home then. Hahaha! We don’t use it very often though. So I am not sure if it’s a great idea to buy another one though. Hmmm…let’s see.

On the second thought, maybe PSP is nicer coz you get to bring it anywhere. What do you think?
